Exhibitor upload

This page is strictly for in-person slide presentations.
All presentations run on LaunchPad, our on-site presentation management system. Personal laptops can't be used for presentations. This guide covers how to upload your files and what to expect when you arrive.
1. Getting your files ready
Presentation file types
Your session computer runs both Mac and Windows files natively. It has PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe Reader and Google Chrome installed.
In PowerPoint, please save your file as a .pptx. Don't use .ppt, .pps or other formats, as they can keep your file from opening correctly. Please also make sure your file doesn't have automatic slide advance timings.
Fonts
The session computer has the standard fonts that come with macOS and Windows, plus those included with PowerPoint and Keynote. Please avoid custom or purchased fonts, as they won't be available and may change how your presentation looks.
Aspect ratios
Every room uses 16:9 (widescreen) projectors. To fill the whole screen, build your presentation in widescreen format. If your deck is already made and you'd rather not change it, it will still work. You'll just see black bars on either side of your slides, like watching old Seinfeld episodes on a new flat screen.
Media files
LaunchPad supports any media file type, with no size limits. One important note: please bring all of your media files with you when you upload your talk, even if they're embedded in your presentation. We can help with many things on site, but we can't fix a missing media file.
Web links and online presentations
If your presentation is web based (for example, Google Slides), you can email us a publicly accessible link instead of uploading a file. We'll send a confirmation email once your presentation is uploaded and ready.
2. Upload your presentation
The upload deadline ensures we have time to run a quality check on every presentation and that it finds its way safely to your session.
3. Presenting
When it's your turn to speak, go to the lectern, find your name in the session's speaker list and click it to begin your presentation. If you don't see your name, check that you're in the correct session.
If you're not, click Change Session on the right side of the screen, choose your session from the list, then click your name to launch your talk. If the previous presenter's slides are still open, click the red End Presentation button in the top-right corner to return to the speaker list.
When you're finished presenting, click End Presentation.
